comm_hydr_sysWe want to be your “go-to” source for hydronic HVAC system equipment. To do that, we need to have inventory so we can supply what you need, when you need it. This is especially true for two of our most popular product lines – TACO commercial pumps and Nexus Valves.

We have built up an inventory that is at or above $500,000 dollars made up of the most commonly requested parts – full pumps, motors, tanks and trim items, coil packs, hoses, blow-downs, and strainers.

If you or your company’s service division is buying pump parts or hydronic accessories, you should be buying them from Mechanical Equipment for two reasons.

First, buying directly from us helps you save money. Because trade secret, directly or indirectly, most other supply houses are likely buying them from us. They then add a “middle-man” mark-up. You can avoid that if you buy direct from ME.

Second, when you buy direct from us, you save precious time. It’s that simple! We are the only TACO Commercial Representative in Northern Illinois, so buying your TACO parts from any other distributor just adds extra time for them to get it from us which delays your project.

Avoid the mark-up and buy your hydronic HVAC equipment directly from us. Chances are that we have what you need in stock, or we can get it within 24 hours in most cases. We will continue to build our inventory so that we can serve our customers better than any other source in Illinois. The new Malcolm X College was officially opened this past spring and is heralded as a “state-of-the-art” college with a focus on education / training for the healthcare industry. The old college has been demolished and will soon house the new Chicago Blackhawks Training Facility.

For the project, we furnished the main hydronic HVAC system equipment using components from:

  • Nexus valves
  • TACO pumps and accessories
  • Sterling Fin Tube, Radiant Heat, Radiant Ceiling Panels, Cab and Unit Heaters, Vibration Isolation Mount
  • MILJOCO thermometers and gauges

The 544,000 square foot building is a very modern architectural concept and acclaimed by the city of Chicago and college administrators as well. With an extremely aggressive schedule, on-time deliveries were critical to the project being completed in time for the Cubs’ opening day. The new state-of–the-art clubhouse is spectacular and we’re delighted to be the suppliers of the equipment that keeps the players and staff comfortable in their new environment. Now that the playoffs are underway, Go Cubs!

Did you know we represent MILJOCO thermometers and gauges? In fact, we stock almost every face and range you may need along with wells and accessories.

One of the reasons we choose to represent MILJOCO is that they are made just outside of Detroit, in the good old U.S. of A. The company has an odd name but it was derived from the founders’ middle names – Howard Millar Trerice and Brenda Josephine Trerice. Howard was the former executive Vice President at the H.O. Trerice Co. and after a successful career there, he created the MILJOCO Corporation in 1979, as a domestic manufacturer of temperature and pressure instruments.

We also like to represent this brand because of their product depth. You name it, they make it!

  • Vapor-actuated dial thermometers for the commercial foodservice industry
  • Commercial HVAC Industrial Thermometers
  • Contractor’s Gauges
  • Bimetallic Thermometers
  • Tridicators
  • Diaphragm Gauges
  • Accessories, including thermowells, syphons, snubbers and diaphragm protection seals

These, and other quality MILJOCO products are available to equipment manufacturers, mechanical contractors, maintenance personnel, and other industry professionals looking for quick access to quality products with our exceptional Mechanical Equipment customer service.
